Las Vegas, NV. The 2nd annual Las Vegas Comedy Festival is set for October 29th at the Stardust Resort and Casino. The four-day festival will include comedy seminars, celebrity panels, performance workshops, showcases, luncheons and final awards banquet. You are welcome to attend the Festival to be a part of this most unique and one-of-a-kind festival for aspiring talents, professional comedians, speakers, comedy industry professionals and anyone who wants to learn, perform or be a part of comedy. The public is welcome, individual showcase tickets are available.

The festival begins with a Cocktail Reception and Showcase and continues each day offering seminars, luncheons and showcases. Only at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival can you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on the festival's "Play Vegas" Stage LIVE!

The Laugh Across America Contest is in the final stages. It began in Houston on September 2nd, going to 15 cities, culminating in Las Vegas on October 15th. All finalists from each category will be flown to Las Vegas to compete in the Laugh Across America Finals Contest. Winners will be announced at the Final Awards Banquet on November 1st.

Several other awards will be presented at the Banquet, recognizing those in the industry that have contributed so much to comedy over the years. We are proud to have the Bob Hope Lifetime Achievement Award this year. No one has represented the humanitarian face of comedy more than Bob Hope. His legendary career will be remembered for generations to come and we are honored to pay tribute to Mr. Hope by presenting this landmark award in his memory” state the producers of the Festival, Mark Allen and Mary Thomas.
